The 31st Biennial Convention of the Arizona-California District of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod will meet under the theme "In Christ Alone," June 9-11, 2014, at the Chaparral Suites in Scottsdale, Arizona. The keynote speaker will be Prof. Richard Gurgel from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin. His topic and discussion will be "Reclaiming Our Christ-Centered Lutheran Devotional Heritage."

To excuse for the convention, please email Pastor Dan Schroeder, the AZ-CA District Secretary. All excuses need to be stated in writing why a delegate is not able to attend.
Important Dates and Times
The convention begins on Monday, June 9, at 11:00 am, with the Opening Service at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tempe, AZ. The afternoon session that day will begin promptly at 1:30 pm. Delegates will be on their own for lunch before the afternoon session begins. There will not be a boxed lunch provided after worship this year. The convention is scheduled to conclude on Wednesday, June 11, at 12:00 pm.
If you are submitting a report for the convention, here are the guidelines for the report. Reports are to be to the district secretary by May 15. There will not be a binder distributed at the convention. We will be going paperless with most materials that had been included in the binder in the past.
